Basilisk lizard

Basilisks or basilisks are a genus of lizards in the family Corytophanide. Males have a triangular ridge on the back of the head, a transverse fold on the throat, and a leathery ridge along the back of the anterior third of the tail, supported by elongated acute spines. They live near water, in trees and shrubs. The main food is insects.
